How do I review a TSP?

Updated on

Once your PhD candidate has submitted their TSP for review the approval process will be started. You will receive a reminder email asking to asses your PhD candidate's TSP.

Option 1: Email

Click on the link contained in the email to go directly to the TSP.

If you are not yet signed in to Hora Finita you will be asked to do so. If you have a U/Z account you can sign in using this account, otherwise you will be asked to log in using an authentication code that will be sent to you via email.

Option 2: Via the dashboard

Once a TSP from any of your PhD candidates has been submitted for review, you will receive a new task on your dashboard under the 'Tasks' section.

Click on the task 'Review TSP from (name PhD)'.

This will take you directly to the TSP page.

Approving or rejecting the TSP

Once you have reviewed the TSP, you can assess it.

At the bottom of the page you will find a drop down menu where you can choose your assessment. You can choose to either approve or reject your PhD candidate's TSP.

If you wish, you can add feedback in the comments section.

If you are ready to submit your assessment. Click on the 'Submit' button.

Once you have clicked 'Submit' an email will be sent to your PhD candidate containing the assessment of their TSP and any feedback you have given.

If you have rejected your PhD candidate's TSP or the candidate wishes to make changes to their TSP, they can re-submit it for review again. This will restart the TSP approval process and you will again be notified via an email, and on the dashboard.
